CES International 2005

Alexis Park 1802

with Nirvana Audio and Cain & Cain Audio

Main Setup featuring the new Cain & Cain IM-Ben double horn with the new Napoleon V3 mono blocks and dual Cain & Cain Bailey Subwoofers. Nirvana supplied SX speaker cable and interconnects as well as power cords.

Personal Note: Sunday when you are on the last day of what seems likes months of preparation a small glimmer of the possibilities became evident: We played Devo at concert levels... SET can rock with single driver speakers better than I ever thought possible.

Making a big statement was my new Ultimate product line. Here shown as a 100% silver output transformer preamplifier based around the WE437A with complete digital processing (USB, Caffeine 2.0 SPDIF with BNC & Toslink).

Doing the phono duty was my Tangent battery hybrid designed preamplifier. Also shown to the far right is the power supply for the Ultimate preamplifier.

Terry Cain brought his personal Terres Turntable with Triplanar arm and Dynavector cart. Strung to the Tangent using custom Nirvana SX interconnect.

Mechanical of the room and location of stuff!

Digital 47 Labs Sigaraki (modified with Tent Labs XO3) using Nirvana Audio T2 digital cable to the Ultimate using the new ultra low jitter (dual PLL) Caffeine DAC module. Passive I/V conversion, no filters, no up/oversampling.
USB Digital Apple G4 ibook, Ultimate USB input with the transcendental dac module. Passive I/V conversion, no filters, no up/oversampling.

We would like to thank all the companies that helped in creating our suite. Thanks to Cain & Cain Audio, Evett Design Group (Cosecant Mechanical Design), PS Audio for this power plant, Cain & Cain and Black Diamond Racing for component support.
